Hello, I am Merissa King the proud of owner of King's Canines. I have always had a passion for all animals since I was a little girl. As I grew older I KNEW I wanted to and just HAD to work with animals. My very first job was at the local Animal shelter. One day a trainer came in to work with some of our shelter dogs and I felt in my heart, that was exactly what I wanted to be in life. Not only to train but to help families struggling to connect with their dogs, on an obedience and bonded level, as well as saving dogs from having to go back to shelters so they may live a long happy life with their families. I started working for companies training dogs but one day I decided to take it a step further. I completed schooling to be a Certified, Professional, dog trainer so I could open up this business that I am proud to have today! Our mascot Baxter, who was given to me while I was visiting GA, is not only my best friend but also my sons. He is not just family but also a medical alert dog for my sons seizures.
